Bunny

Rafe looked at the pictures of Chloe on the cover of her funeral program–it looked like a picture he would have taken of her when they went away together. She looked so vivacious and full of life.

The body that he viewed looked beautiful but lacked her life and vivaciousness. Eliza held his hand while they stood together at her coffin.

“You caused her death!” Sally screamed suddenly, and Rafe turned around to look at her. Oscar was sitting next to Sally, and held her close to him but she continued to scream. “She was talking about you before she died! Her head was all filled with you! You!”

Rafe looked down at Chloe once more, and then with Eliza they walked to her pew.

“I am sorry for your loss,” Rafe stated simply.

“You killed my daughter!!!” Sally pummeled her fists against his chest, and all Rafe could do was take it. Oscar pulled Sally away from him, and Eliza said,

“Stop it Sally, this not the way to say goodbye to your daughter.”

Sally stopped punching Rafe to stare coldly at Eliza.

“Both of you get out of here.” Eliza looked at Rafe and nodded.

The walked down the hall in the chapel. Others from a nearby funeral looked at them.

Rafe still felt Sally pounding his chest when he and Eliza got into their car. Eliza held his hand, and he closed his eyes. Lifeless Chloe stayed with him. He remembered her scampering away like a bunny after they skinny dipped. Her bright eyes filled with what he now knew was love.

He squeezed Eliza’s hand as they sat in the car. He wanted her away from Sally for sure. Sally would have lost her mind if she had seen Eliza—really seen Eliza–who was not really showing yet but there was a slight curve about her stomach. Their baby was barely visible but there, and he did not want Sally to injure the mother of his unborn child.

***

Oscar sat next to Sally. They were reunited in grief, but it was still such a hard time being with her post Chloe when all he thought in his head like a mantra was Bunny, Bunny, Bunny. He used to call Chloe Bunny as a pet name, and now she was lying in the coffin that he and Sally stared at long after the funeral director closed it.

Death was so final, the opposite of birth.

Birth, he swallowed hard as he thought it. Eliza looked so different, even if she had not told him she was pregnant he would have been able to guess there was something new about her. He knew her that intimately. It was not his baby, she assured him why she told him right away and calmly so there was no confusion.

“Besides, I am Rafe’s wife and he said any baby I have is his baby.”

Oscar swallowed hard again.

He lost Chloe and the chance to be a father within a week, he felt like a walking void. This swap of partners with Eliza had been a black hole.

Kink Flashback

If you read my Wicked Wednesday last week, it was a bit somber. I decided to do a kink flashback this week–while I regroup…

Eliza felt damp underneath the black and white dress that she wore. She was annoyed with Terrence, and it was the first time she had really been so despite everything that happened between them.

But even mad, even wanting to throw him out of a window, when she looked at him something happened inside of her.

He moved closer to her, and she looked at him first hopelessly, vulnerably. Then she squared her shoulders, and felt how tight her jaw was.

“No, no, you cannot just sweet talk me out of this,” she said quietly, looking up at him.

“I’m sorry,” he said.

That was all he said, without smiling like usual to soften her. His expression was solemn almost, and his eyes locked with hers.

Naked beneath her waist. Eliza had on only a black and white bra, under her black and white dress. Naked the rest of way down, she felt her clit thicken and twitch with desire.

She fluttered her eyelashes, and looked away from him.

He kissed her where her lashes fell.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry…” he repeated as a litany.

He pressed her to the wall, and she drowned in his scent and emotion before he slipped his hand under her skirt and she heard his surprised gasp.

“You’re not–”

She leaned up and kissed him. He pulled her close, and he slapped her backside, his fingers sticking a bit because they were damp with her moisture.

Pressing her pelvis to his, Eliza let him crush her to him even more. She looked up at him, this time vulnerable and scared.

The way she felt about him terrified her, and being in his arms made her feel like loose lava. He caressed her, at the top of her triangle and she squirmed which made him spank her.

Her desire raged only from the waist down, although she could feel her nipples were hard against the cups of her bra.

He said he was sorry, and she allowed him to pleasure her. She gave into him.

Like usual.

Pierced

Chloe took a long look at her mother. She had of course seen pictures of her mother when she was younger, her mother had always been the youngest looking mom when she was a kid. The cool one who came to pick her up to take her to fun places, but it was her grandmother who took care of her primarily.

Sally had her hair pulled up in a ponytail, and her earring piercings were empty except for pearls that she wore that emphasized her faux rockabilly look. Her mother was beautiful, there was no denying that Oscar had been smitten with her which is how she did not know how she was able to pry him from her but she had.

And now.

She needed her mother, blood was thicker than water and she needed her. Sally looked at her with a face that displayed no emotion. She had agreed to meet her, but her face was smooth as porcelain not a crease of emotion.

“Mom, I am sorry for everything. But you are my mom, and I love you and I need you.” Chloe felt weak as she looked at her mother’s still calm expression.

“I love you Chloe, you’re my daughter. I am always here. It was not so much about Oscar, but the things you said to me about not raising you and acting like you did not need me. Like you did not love me.”

“I’m sorry Mom,” Chloe cried, and she rushed to hug her mother. I’m so sorry. But I think you are right. Oscar was out of my league, I should never have gotten involved with him. I never should have done any of this because now…I am in love with someone else.”

Her mother studied her with interest now. Chloe was afraid to say anything, because even to say it was pleasure and pain.

“I am in love with Rafe Morton.”

Her mother’s eyes widened, as she stared at her.

“Then you are in for a hell of a battle with his wife,” Sally leaned back with an ironic smile. “And she pulled a knife on me once, so I would be very careful. Both Oscar and Rafe love her to death.”

Chloe swallowed, she definitely could not compete with Eliza. But she had to have Rafe, she needed him now more than ever…

She walked out of the café after talking to her mother a little longer, and got into her car. She started to text Oscar, but out of the corner of her eye she saw that her driving was texting. As she was about to tell him to stop, the car swerved and she screamed. The sound of their two phones colliding was the last sound she heard.

Frigid

Chloe wrapped her arms about herself as if she felt frigid air surrounding her. A thought about her mother came like frigid air–but now she wondered if she was right? Chloe was lying in bed with Oscar, they were both so drunk after they left Talisman with Eliza and Rafe.

Rafe had his driver take them home, and he and Eliza walked away. Chloe stared after them for a long time–as long as she could see them in the car. She realized it bothered her that Rafe was going with Eliza, and probably they were in bed the same way she and Oscar were now. Oscar pulled her closer, and she could smell the smokiness of Laphroaig on his breath.

Her mother had told her that she was way out of her league with a man like Oscar. Chloe felt she was even more out of her league with a man like Rafe. Being with him changed her, she needed to tell Oscar about it, but she had not.

After being with Rafe, Chloe felt like more of a woman than she had before. Maybe being with Oscar was something different because she had had a crush on him and it was fulfilled.

With Rafe, it had been wanting him from almost the moment she saw him, and not being able to deny that. She had even made it so that Eliza feel like they all should switch partners. Her desire made it so, Chloe heated up as she realized that. When he made love to her she had a fever, and wanted nothing else.

But him.

She had searched his eyes for some reciprocity earlier, but he barely looked at her. When he did his smile was warm and knowing, everything that happened between them flashed in his eyes. She felt full of him, and wanted him inside her again. But all she did was drink like self medication to make it all go away…

Now he haunted her like a ghost, she did not see him as an apparition even as she could not stop thinking about him. Wondered if he was thinking about her, as Oscar pulled her closer.

Red

Eliza saw red.

In Talisman, she realized that she had been trying so hard with Chloe but that there had been no need to. Chloe wanted her to like her now, but her reasoning troubled Eliza deeply.

Chloe was in love with Rafe—did Oscar see it? Her marriage was open, and fine she and Oscar had spent time together while Chloe was with Rafe…but Chloe was looking moon-eyed at Rafe the entire time. Her drunken eyes revealed an obsession as far as Eliza could see. Chloe had been eyeing him this way from the moment they met.

Eliza was done.

Eliza squeezed Rafe’s hand, and sat closer to him. She watched Chloe look at their hands, and then up at her face. Eliza smiled—what else could she do? Chloe lifted her drink, and searched for Rafe’s eyes. He kissed Eliza’s temple, and Chloe watched his lips.

Oscar was watching Eliza, which she did not realize until much later. His eyes were smoky the way they had been when they were away. Smoky, the way they got before he pushed into her the way she liked and was a little rough. Pulled her hair and made her lips throb from kissing and sucking him off. She liked his eyes smoky then, but now it seemed a different brew, and he had been drinking a lot too.

Was it just Talisman because Eliza had not felt any of this before drinking any of their talismans. Was there something in her drink that was making her feel paranoid?

“You okay?” Eliza felt Rafe’s warm breath as he questioned her.

“Fine,” she replied, when she was anything but…

Talisman

Chloe’s skin tingled when Oscar embraced her, it was so different to feel him again and in a way that she would never have imagined. She hungered more for him because she had been away from him, and wanted to tell him about everything that had happened because he had not been there with her to share it. She also wanted to know what experiences he had had with Eliza. He held her close, and she felt cherished. She felt that he missed her and cared about her.

Loved her.

He kissed her and it felt like it must have felt for Adam and Eve with the fruit of knowledge. Nothing was hidden.

Eliza was there, and Chloe did not feel guarded this time at all. The four of them went to a speakeasy near Chloe’s apartment. Chloe was lucky that she had her own place and that she did not have to worry about a roommate, but Talisman was such a quaint spot that she could not help but invite them all there for drinks. She made cocktails now—she had learned a lot from Rafe! But she wanted something more elegant for tonight.

Eliza looked impressed, and even though Chloe felt more comfortable in her own skin around her she still wanted an edge.

Talisman provided each guest a talisman of sorts to walk into the bar. Eliza held hers which was an enigmatic sphere, in her hand and her wedding ring shone in the dark in a surreal fashion. Rafe held her close to him, and Eliza settled into him like she belonged there.

Chloe wanted to know what it was like to belong in that way. She and Oscar were not there yet. Oscar kissed her temple, and Chloe felt herself flush with heat.

“I missed you,” he said, as if she could not feel it.

“I missed you,” she answered looking at him in the shadowy bar, his eyes shining. There was something preternatural about the inside of Talisman, it made her not quite like herself. It made everyone seem otherworldly, and the drinks they made were like magic potions.

Chloe drank Talisman No. 8, a love potion with roses floating on the top of it. She took a sip, and waited for what the night would bring to the four of them.

Core

Jumping into the water to skinny dip with Rafe was only the beginning of their experience together. Over the course of the weekend he had gotten to her core. It was not just that they made love all weekend, and that he got to her core literally either.

Lying in bed with him, Chloe felt a connection so deep as he caressed her after making love, his caress like they had not stopped making love drove her wild. She never imagined that her inappropriate crush on Oscar as an intern would have developed into something like this—opening their relationship the way he never had before with the woman who she was sure was one of the most important women in his life…as well as her mother.

Chloe had not really wanted to have dinner with Eliza and Rafe, but she did for Oscar. Eliza knew everything about her mother and Oscar, and then her and Oscar so that was intimidating. But what she felt when she met Rafe was big, and she would never have been open to even trying anything if it had not developed so organically. Oscar was having a weekend with Eliza, and she was not even thinking about it because it was not important at the moment.

Rafe lifted her hips, and she spread her legs all the more because his weight enticed her to. He spread her legs even more, and she moaned as the desire for him to fill her filled her. Her body was wired with desire and between her legs wet for him as she had been all weekend. He slipped a thick finger inside of her, and even though it was not the entry she had craved, it made her move toward him and he reached in with that come hither curl with his finger that made her arch up and cry out.

He hugged her, and her body vibrated with the orgasm that she had had. But it was not just with the physical pleasure, it was with the intensity of her emotions. She was falling in love with him so hard, and the way he made her feel she hoped he was falling for her too. Chloe was not sure though, and she could not ask him because she was Oscar’s. All she could do was live in the moment, and let him into her in all the ways that he would enter her.

She kissed his chest, and the heat of his skin seared her lips and burned her even more to the core.

Leap

Chloe enjoyed the drive out of the city with Rafe. He suggested taking her to this place outside of the city so they could be together…alone.

When she had a crush on Oscar, that crush was exactly that a girlish infatuation. But when they got together, and when she met Rafe after this was authentic. This was love. She had never even admitted it to herself that she was in love with Rafe, but she was and there was no denying it anymore. Sitting with him now in the passenger seat of the car, she looked out at the water and did not resist the urge to run out to it. Piece by piece, she took off her clothes and looked back at him, sticking out her tongue and licking her lips. When Rafe chased her—which she wanted him to do—the adrenaline ran through her as she ran and dived off the board into the water.

She was in a bikini in the water, but when Rafe jumped in he was in nothing. Naked and beautiful, he swam toward her. Chloe was wet from the water, and wet between her legs. He wrapped his arms about her and kissed her, Chloe throbbed all over from his touch. From the closeness of his body. From everything of him.

Chloe wanted everything, and she was not sure how she was going to have it—Oscar, Rafe… Oscar was her man, there was no question about that. But in the water now with Rafe with the sun pouring down on them—this was her everything.

Retreat

Chloe swung her hips delicately to the Amy Winehouse version of “Girl From Ipanema,” while they were at Retreat— a new pop-up bar created to promote a PR campaign her friend was running. Eliza watched as Chloe held Oscar’s hand, and bumped her hip with Rafe’s.

Eliza and Rafe had been monogamous since they got married, but they never said that their marriage would not be open. Eliza could tell that Chloe had an attraction to Rafe, and that he did not mind.

As for herself, being around Oscar all of the time did not make her immune to his charms. There were several times that she felt like she and Oscar felt something more than just being friends. From the time that he came looking for her in the cafe, she felt something more between them. Maybe that was why she tried to bring Chloe into the mix, so she would not think about Oscar and herself anymore.

Chloe continued to bump hips with Rafe, and Eliza saueezed his husband’s hand. Rafe looked down at her, and she smiled up at him before she let her gaze linger on Chloe.

Chloe’s dress had no back, and her nipples were on view through the dress so you could see her nipples like small roses through the gauzy material.

Rafe smiled at Eliza, as he put his arm about Chloe’s waist and gently squeezed her backside which made it obvious that she was not wearing any underwear. As if she knew that she was going to be fucked that night. Well Oscar and or Rafe—Chloe was going to get fucked.

Eliza went to the bathroom to look at her face, and in the mirror she saw Oscar’s face above hers like a kind of aura. She spun around to look at him, and realized that she had wanted him to follow her to the bathroom.

“I can’t see you Eliza and either not want to fuck you, or think of having fucked you.” He placed the latch across the bathroom door behind his back without taking his eyes off of her. Eliza looked at him, as he came at her and saw a vintage Rosie the Riveter poster in the corner of the bathroom exclaiming, We Can Do It!” while Oscar proved to her they could do it.

Dinner Party

Rafe smirked at Eliza, and she stuck her tongue out at him. Her focus was on setting the table for their intimate dinner party.

She and Oscar had talked shortly after seeing each other in the cafe. He needed to know that she did not judge him, and she needed to know that they were still friends. Their conversation was extensive, and to show good faith she invited him and Chloe over to have dinner with her and Rafe.

“Everything looks lovely, Liza,” Rafe said, pulling her close to him.

He still held her close when they let in Oscar and Chloe. Oscar held Chloe’s hand protectively, and Chloe smiled shyly as a greeting.

Oscar told Eliza that he had told Chloe about them, and Eliza wanted Chloe to know that she was not a threat. When Chloe sat down, it was clear that Sally or someone had raised a very elegant young woman. Chloe had perfect table manners, and though she did not touch Oscar, but her feelings for him were clear. She avoided looking at Eliza and Rafe, which troubled Eliza.

By dessert, Chloe leaned close to Oscar and he caressed her bare arm absently.

When Chloe got up to go to the bathroom, Eliza followed her. Chloe looked stricken when she saw Eliza’s reflection in the mirror.

“Hi,” Eliza said, making eye contact with the younger woman in the mirror.

Chloe smiled back at her reflection, before she walked past Eliza. Unlike with her Chloe’s mother when she came to her apartment, Eliza took Chloe’s arm,

“I am not the enemy.”

Chloe nodded, and Eliza was not sure that she believed her.

Apparently she did, because that was the first of many couples’ dinners that the four of them had. Chloe began to open up more and more, which made Eliza happy. She even started to talk to Rafe. Chloe’s conversations with Rafe were such that she spent more time with him almost than she did with the rest of them.

Eliza did not mind, she knew her husband was sexy, and she knew he liked the attention as well.

“Are you okay?” Oscar asked her, and she was aware that they were staring at their partners with each other.

Eliza nodded, and Oscar took her hand.

“I know that women are atrracted to my husband, that nothing is wrong with a little flirting.”

“You think they are flirting?” he questioned.

“What do you think?”

Eliza was not sure what to think herself, but looking at Chloe and her husband she was not sure what kind of complication that this would make…
