Wicked Wednesday #323 — Passenger

At first, she could not feel her body. It was like she was not even there. Then she felt she was prone, and in a great deal of pain. The realization of pain rushed in like flash floods, during a torrential rainstorm. Eliza felt the tears on her cheek, as everything started to come back to her.

She had been a passenger in a car, she only remembered when it flipped. Everything after that was a blur.

“Are you awake?” A young woman in white was sitting next to her, and beaming.

Eliza blinked, and as if the nurse understood she squeezed her hand which Eliza now realized she was holding.

“I have been by your side since you arrived. I have done everything for you, because I knew you would come back. I knew!”

Eliza kept blinking, she hurt too much to do anything else.

And then she remembered Rafe.

She got into the car that crashed because she saw him, and the driver collided with another car on the highway.

When she thought she was safe.

It was her second car crash, and this time felt worse than the other one. She was still because she was afraid to move, afraid to do anything.

She was terrified.

And then there he was in the flesh.

Rafe.

He was holding a bouquet, and looked like he had not slept for days.

“I’ve come to take you home,” he said.

Eliza started to cry.

The young nurse caressed her arm, and wiped her face with a delicate handkerchief that Rafe handed her from his suit.

Eliza cried more.

She cried even more when she was back in her apartment with Rafe, but she could not say anything because she was helpless. The doctor had told her she had not reinjured any of her previous wounds, but she was thoroughly battered. She had hit her head, and her face was swollen again. She looked like a monster.

She cried all of the time, and found comfort rubbing a scar from the previous car crash on her leg.

She did not touch her phone, but she wanted to talk to Adrien. This reminded her of the accident they had encountered.

“Eliza,” Rafe held her, and she cried again. She did not want to be with him, but he had come and she could not take care of herself. She was so angry at him still, running away from him had caused this.

She choked on her tears, and he tried to soothe her. She felt like the author in Misery, she was afraid to be at Rafe’s mercy.

He acted like her life without him had been make believe, and he was amending everything.

She almost wanted to die.

There is more Wicked Wednesday here. This has been an intense writing week for me, starting with my last Masturbation Monday. Not sure what Friday will bring, but do join me for (Flash and) Fleur Friday!

Wicked Wednesday #322 — Tradition

Rafe came from a traditional family, his mother and father had been married for a long time. His departure from this was inexplicable, his departure from that tradition caused his separation from his fiancée.
This was his third end of engagement from Eliza, and he was shell-shocked at first because he did not want to end their engagement. He had proposed to her because he wanted to marry her, and because he could not imagine his life without her. Now here he was, alone again without her and there was nothing that he wanted to do but be with her.
But this time he was not going to chase her, this time he was going to give her the space that she needed. The last time he made it too much about him. This time he was going to let her see that she wanted to be with him too. That she had agreed to marry him because she wanted to spend her life with him.
He saw her in newspapers, she looked happy and was with the same guy when she was with a guy. He knew that guy, and he was sure that he was happy to swoop right in. Who would not be happy to swoop right in, and take Eliza? She was the type of woman that you wanted forever.
The pictures of himself that he saw in the newspaper, he looked like a caricature of himself. He looked like a stern business man—and he was always alone. Did Eliza note that he was alone in all of his photos?
His father even called him, and asked him what was going on and what was he going to do? Rafe explained that he was waiting, that he was going to get her back. She was his, and she would realize it on her own.
He was not much of a gambler, but this was biggest gamble of his life and he had to win it.
He had to get her back.

Wicked Wednesday #321 — Lust

Terrence’s tongue felt like water bobbing around her when she was perfectly still. Eliza closed her eyes, and fondled her breasts as she sat on his face. He had been looking at her all evening like if Jeanne was not there, he would have placed her across the table and fucked her for everyone to see.

Not caring at all.

The way he made her feel now, Eliza was conflicted. She felt pure lust for him, but at the same time she was not sure how she felt about his relationship with Lila. Rafe had explained to her that Lila was a dominatrix, and that he only utilized her for business. Eliza laughed. The business of sex that he did not want to share with her? Did Lila dominate Terrence as well? But he had been in a relationship with her, so was that completely different?

And then Jeanne. Eliza saw Jeanne’s eyes fill with tears almost when she said her father was dead. Jeanne was reserved for the most part, even as she was open and receptive…to see her face filed with emotion was startling in that instant.

“Are you okay?” She had asked, swallowing her wine, putting her glass down and taking Jeanne’s hand in hers.

Jeanne looked awkward, as she nodded.

Terrence’s foot had been between her legs for awhile at that point under the table. He paused with Jeanne’s show of emotion, but resumed as soon as Jeanne said she was okay.

Eliza pinched her nipple, and ground into Terrence’s fingers slipping into her other wet hole. His tongue darting in and out of her front, and his fingers in the back made her convulse with pleasure. She wanted not to come undone as she did, but she did and she could feel his smile of satisfaction against her lips as her kissed as they pulsed.

She was still so sexually attracted to him even thought he had hurt her more than he knew he had, and more than she had expected him to.

She dug her nails into his shoulders, and he grunted with pleasure even as she knew she had to be hurting him a bit. Maybe he liked that more than she thought…maybe Lila dominated him like she dominated Rafe. And it made her want to hurt him, just to see if it would drive his lust…

Eliza and Terrence shared a particularly lusty moment, she is in sync with Sabrina this week! How and will Jeanne experience her own kind of lust this week? Find out this Fleur Friday!

Wicked Wednesday #320 — Symphony

Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 was playing in the background while they waited for food at the cafe. Eliza looked at Jeanne a lot out of the corner of her eye. There was something about Jeanne, she reminded her of someone she knew. At first she could not place it, but then she realized that it was her father that Jeanne reminded her of.

Usually she did not make instafriends with someone, but she was doing okay with Jeanne. She was doing a lot of things his time that she had not done before. Now that she had broken up with Rafe again, and this time she meant it.

She went to the apartment while he was gone and took the things that she needed to live and left everything else. She did not want to fight with him or go through a lot, she just wanted to be separate. She ignored his calls, and this time he did not call as much as he had called her the last time they broke up. This was the third breakup, and this one was more major than the others.

“Are you okay?” Jeanne asked Eliza, turning to look at her as their food arrived.

Eliza had not even smelled the deeply fragrant food that had arrived which let her know that she had not really been sitting there, she had not been present. But she smiled and shook her head.

“I am fine, just a lot going on and I got caught up for a second. Would you like some of mine?” She offered her bowl to Jeanne.

The cafe was Italian and Japanese fusion, after the owner of the same heritage. The food was sensational. Eliza picked up her chopsticks, but nonverbally expressed she would not eat anything until Jeanne did.

That was what Jeanne did that was so similar to her father, well one of the things. She had a quiet manner, and impeccable manners. She was attentive to both Eliza and Terrence.

Terrence caught her eye, and Eliza looked at him squarely before starting to eat after she was satisfied that Jeanne had taken enough of her offered entree.

Then she disappeared again with each bite.

All of a sudden she was not so distraught about not being with Rafe anymore, which had been unfathomable just weeks ago. Eliza was intrigued how seamless their break had been. How easy it was this time, and how eager she was to have something new.

A completely new life with new experiences, and ultimately new people. Her mind raced with possibilities, and Beethoven’s symphony soothed her….

Fleur Friday No. 4 — Sisters

Jeanne’s pace increased as she heard the heavy tread of footsteps behind her. It was the middle of the day, but this was New York and it was clear that she was being followed.

“Excuse me, wait, miss?”

Jeanne turned around, and within minutes of their last encounter, she was again looking Eliza in the eyes. As if the thought, somehow secured that it would happen. There she was looking her sister–who did not know that she was her sister–in the eye.

“I saw you at the cafe, and I felt like I knew you. You look familiar. Do I?” Eliza continued, wide eyed and with a hopeful smile.

Jeanne shrugged, it was a now or never moment. But did she want to blurt out on a SoHo Street that she was her sister? Did she want to bring all of that up, and open Pandora’s box on Crosby Street?

“You are Eliza Morton, right? I am a writer, I’ve covered the art scene. I just had that moment when you think you know someone and you do, but you don’t. We have never spoken before, but I have seen you. My name is Jeanne Bordeaux.” Jeanne extended her hand instinctively.

“Oh! Indeed, I have read your articles, do you want to…” Eliza looked flustered, taking Jeanne’s hand. “I mean I followed you out into the street, I am with my boyfriend having coffee, maybe dinner. Join us? Are you in a rush?”

Jeanne smiled, it could not hurt and maybe it was the most delightful serendipity. She shrugged.

“Sure, why not. I was headed to a gallery for a look at an artist, but there is no rush.”

The two of them walked back to the cafe where Eliza’s boyfriend was sitting. Was that the reason why she and her fiancé had broken up? Maybe her sister was better off than she thought, from seeing her love life in bits and pieces in the newspaper?

“I did know this lady!” Eliza beamed at the man. “She is the writer Jeanne Bordeaux?”

“Oh Ms. Bordeaux, I have heard of you too. Read some of your articles,” He put put his hand for her to shake it.

“Jeanne, call me Jeanne.”

“Jeanne, I am Terrence.”

Jeanne sat on her hands as she eased into the booth beside Eliza to ease their shaking. She was so nervous, she had never been this close to Eliza before, or spoken to her! She was at a loss for what was going to happen between them.

Whatever happened it would be an education, that is for sure on both learning about her sister and learning who she would be in this situation.

Find out more about Jeanne’s education, every Fleur Friday. Follow Eliza’s story here. This week the Wicked Wednesday theme was education which you can read more of here.

Wicked Wednesday #319 — Educate

Neither Eliza or Terrence could resist looking at her naked ring finger. They went to a cafe nearby the hotel that was now her home, and her naked finger seemed to be all the aphrodisiac that Terrence needed because he could not keep his hands off of her. His hand at her waist to usher her into every door he held for her, his hand for emphasis on her arms and thighs for even her sighs. He kept looking at her finger like it was inexplicable that her ring was not on it, even though she was telling him the story.

“You know, the first and only time I ever cheated on Rafe was when Oscar picked me up in a bar. I was miserable about my engagement even then, and I keep coming full circle.” she confided, taking a sip of her espresso. “And I broke it off before, but we got back together because we had been together so long and I could not imagine what it would be like not to be with him.”

“Do you still love him?”

Eliza stared at Terrence. The word love from his mouth was like a foreign language, she could not grasp the sound nor think of the letters that could form this word for such a nebulous emotion or action? What was love? Did she even know what love was? She needed an education on the word, and the notion.

When she looked away from him, her eyes caught those of a woman who was staring right at her from the street and there was something familiar about the eyes. The woman had eyes like her father, and that made Eliza smile at her. The woman continued to stare at her, and then turned and walked away.

Aside from looking like her father, there was something familiar about the woman like she had seen her before. Eliza felt her own frown with confusion, as she watched the woman walk away. There was something about her stride, and Eliza was sure that she knew her. She squeezed Terrence’s hand on top of her upturned one, and walked out of the the cafe to follow the woman who had almost turned the corner.

Wicked Wednesday #318 — Recreate

It was not a scene Eliza had ever intended to recreate, but there she was alone in a hotel room without her engagement ring.

Again.

It was the second time she took off her ring, and meant it.

She did everything all over again with Rafe, threw the ring at him screamed so much that her throat was sore but her eyes remained dry.

There was nothing to cry about.

And then a text from Terrence broke her reverie, and she thought that she would be nauseous. She felt like he was bad juju, that if Lila had never texted him she would not be in this place.

Alone, and wanting to be that way.

She put her phone facedown, because she kept seeing Terrence’s name.

Why was it that she had just called off her engagement—again—but she was upset about Terrence—again?

When she heard a knock at her door, she pinched her thigh because she had forgotten to turn off her GPS location so at the door could be a number of people who had access to where she was. Eliza could not pretend that she was not there, but she took her sweet time getting up and opening the door.

Terrence.

“Did you mean to visit Lila?” she practically spat, and was embarrassed by her vitriol.

Terrence looked at her puzzled, in the way that he did that was boyish and sexy, but right now she felt nauseous as she looked at him.

“What?”

She turned away from him, and heard him close the door behind him.

“Why was she calling you?”

Terrence’s expression switched from puzzled, to understanding.

“And the first thing is that I am involved with her again, right? I don’t have to lie to you Eliza. I thought we were honest with each other.”

“So now you are not seeing her?”

“No,” Terrence said stiffly.

Eliza chuckled darkly.

“Well good, because my ex is seeing her now so, I guess she cannot juggle you both!”

“What? Your ex?”

“The engagement is off.”

She raised her hand at him to show him her naked finger, and the gesture seemed obscene.

Wicked Wednesday #317 — Interest

Her renewed interest in Lila had started because she saw that Lila had called Terrence, never would she have imagined that she would be here. That she would have waken up, and see Lila’s face looking like a dominatrix would appear on Rafe’s phone.

Rafe? Eliza immediately reached to attack him, when she realized she was pummeling the mattress.

Eliza was panicking as she got out of bed, and did not even see Rafe. Presently she saw Lila—and red.

She held his phone like it was on fire, and stormed over to him when she finally found him.

“Lila? Are you serious? Lila?”

Rafe looked at her, his face was bemused. He took the phone from her.

“We are still here? You checking my phone?”

Eliza took the phone, and threw it at the wall.

“No, you do not get to do that! You do not get to make it about me! That I was wrong! LILA?” she repeated indignantly.

“Who is Lila?”

Eliza strided across the kitchen, picked up the phone with its now cracked mirror and handed it to Rafe.

“TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR DAMNED PHONE! THAT IS WHO LILA IS!”

She threw the phone next to the pan where he was making breakfast, and Lila’s stunningly beautiful face was on his screen again.

Rafe looked down at his phone, This time his face was not bemused, this time he knew very well who Lila was. But now Eliza saw that the phone said Dom above Lila’s face. Maybe he did not know her name, but that did not make a difference! The face was Lila’s, and she felt nauseous.

“WHO IS LILA? I DON’T BELIEVE YOU! SHE IS CALLING YOU RIGHT NOW!” she started again, not completely convinced. Her fiancé was a good actor.

Rafe looked at his phone.

“This is Domino, I do not know who—any Lila.”

And then Eliza blacked out.

Wicked Wednesday #316 — Release

Eliza loved to see Terrence, but as much as she tried, she could not release certain thoughts about him from her mind. In the beginning, she had not even liked him because he was arrogant and remote with her. Then it was a passionate affair between them, and then there was Lila.

There were things that blemished their rapport.

Tonight was another blemish.

They had both been drinking, neither of them was sloppy drunk, but they had definitely been drinking. He held her hand, and would not release it.

“I need you to be with me more, you disappeared Eliza. And even when I do not see you, I see you. In the newspaper, pictures, mentions of you in the business section. I need more of you. I feel like I had more too…”

He would not release her hand, and it felt like an iron grip even though he was not holding her tightly. She did not know what to say to him, it was uncomfortable for him to say he needed more of her. He knew that she was polyamorous when he met her. She never kept that a secret, because she knew how she had felt when Rafe kept that a secret from her.

“I have never lied yo you, or withheld my time from you Terrence.” she replied stoically, looking in his eyes with a blank—it felt blank to her—expression.

“I never said you lied,” Terrence shook his head. “I am just saying I want more of you. I’ve missed you.”

“Why lament about things past, when I am right here?” she looked at him.

He still would not release her hand.

His phone vibrated, and even without looking she looked and saw Lila’s name pop up on the screen. Terrence was still holding her hand, and not looking at his phone. She was facing the phone, and looked at the picture of Lila. Her eyes bright and soft on the screen, in a way that she had never seen Lila.

A way she assumed, Lila was just for Terrence.

He still would not let go of her hand, and even though it was hours later, and she was home in bed, she could still feel his grip and see Lila’s miniature soft smile on his phone…

Wicked Wednesday #315 — Trademark

Terrence could not help the following morning, but pick up the newspaper that had a paparazzi shot of Eliza. Being engaged to Rafe meant that she was going to be in the public eye because of his family, and his position as an international businessman. There were tons of pictures of him and her in the media, but this one was her alone holding a coffee cup.

“Eliza Morton caught being a pedestrian, holding a coffee cup and with her trademark elegance flashing us with her gorgeous engagement ring from her fiancé.” Terrence read.

“Put that down please?” she said, picking up yet again a cup of coffee across from him. Again with trademark elegance or not, her ring caught in the light and showed itself off. She and Terrence started at her ring—well Eliza thought he was staring at her ring.

“Even when you do not move, you have a trademark elegance. I remember coming to work with you and especially going to Paris with you…”

Eliza felt her cheeks heat because that Paris trip was the beginning of them as they were now, but that was not what Terrence was referring to.

“You looked so elegant, and effortless elegance is a trademark for French women. You did not stand out in the least. I could not keep my eyes off of you, and eventually…” When he paused and looked up at her, there was no mistaking his meaning. “I could not keep my hands off of you.”

He took her hand at that moment, and the heat from her face raced down her body to her fingertips. The simple touch of his hand set her aflame. She looked at him speechless, his breath was heavy and their moment was so clear.
